WELCOME TO THE CURVY REVOLUTION!
Yesterday, while I was on commute on my way to a meeting, I tried observing the people around me, especially the women. It dawned on me that plus size women make up a huge part of our population. Not just the Philippine population, but the world’s. We are not a minority, so we do not have to hide at all. We do not have to bury ourselves under frumpy old clothing. It’s time that we did some work to create change in what seems to be the norm when comes to fashion.
Those who have been blessed with easy access to high-end stores and the internet, are lucky because they have a lot of options and resources to choose from. At the same time, these resource can aid them in finding the right clothing choices for them, but what about those who have no clue at all? What can we do to offer every curvy woman an option and an opportunity to educate themselves in getting the right fit and style for them? For now, all we can do is cross our fingers and hope that this project will become a success. With your help, lovelies, I know it will. At the same time I’m glad to share with you that this movement isn’t just confined within the parameters of Philippine territory. Miles halfway around the world, more full-figured women are joining the revolution.
